W.I.P Wednesday - Jelly Roll Jammin'

I was very excited when I saw the new pattern. After finishing last week's W.I.P I wanted a quick and easy project, to relax my mind, before tackling another toughie.

I was drooling over all the photos the Fat Quarter Shop was releasing and knew I had to try it. I didn't even need to dive into my jelly roll collection. I had the perfect candidate in mind...Happy Go Lucky by Bonnie & Camille for Moda Fabrics. I was so crazy about this fabric when it was released (last year?) that I bought a jelly roll, two charm packs and a honeycomb. I probably would've bought entire bolts had the purse allowed.

I was actually hoping to finish the quilt today, but, a cranky toddler put a halt on that plan. I have, however, completed the first steps in piecing and will probably tackle a little more later tonight. Hopefully I can show you all sorts of glorious photos tomorrow.

I've made a decent start.
